guests at maya tulum sleep inside simple, yet chic, palapa-roofed cabanas that look as if they could have sprung naturally from the earth. each cabana comes with a sitting area for relaxing, tiled bathroom with an open shower area, and a generous supply of free fresh bottled water.

the resort offers a choice of 3 types of rooms: garden, ocean-view, or beachfront.
beachfront: our best cabanas! each cabana sits right on the sandy beach with spectacular views of the crystal clear caribbean sea. beachfront "super deluxe" rooms are also available, they are a slightly larger version of the beachfront cabana.
ocean-view: cabanas are located directly behind the beachfront rooms with beautiful views of the ocean. there are breezes in these cabanas, like the sky itself is touching you.
garden: cabanas are located in the garden area with windows that open to allow the sweet, deep scent of the tropical gardens to come in.
beachfront: our best cabanas! each cabana sits right on the sandy beach with spectacular views of the crystal clear caribbean sea. beachfront "super deluxe" rooms are also available, they are a slightly larger version of the beachfront cabana.
