our retreat includes three full (all you can eat) meals each day. dining is celebrated in an expansive round cabana built with elegant marble floors and white limestone walls. delight in world-class cuisine as you take in the dazzling turquoise caribbean sea, sun and sand through numerous windows circling the dining hall. prepare yourself for abundant vegetarian meals and freshly-caught seafood.
enjoy breakfasts of buttery waffles and pecan-filled granola with sumptuous native fruits. try your eggs a la mexicana (scrambled with tomato, onion and habaneros or serrano chiles), con mole (fried eggs on a flour tortilla filled with oaxaca cheese and layered in a traditional mole sauce), or motulenos (fried eggs on toasted corn tortillas layered with refried beans and spicy habanero chili sauce).
feast on lunches with fresh guacamole, calamari, thai shrimp cakes, and an endless assortment of seasonal salads, avocado sandwiches, fish tacos, and rice dishes.
start dinners with tasty appetizers such as shrimp ceviche, stuffed avocado, quesadillas, soups, and tostachos. move on to salads and vegetable dishes, grilled vegetables, pasta offerings (many served with seafood), a medley of seafood selections (fish fillet mayan style, fish fillet guajillo style, shrimp brochettes) rice dishes (brown rice with lentils, rice with curried vegetables, asian rice with shrimp).
complete your dining experience with homemade desserts and fresh fruit dishes (papaya and pineapple is plentiful). then it’s time for a walk on the beach.
*special notes: anytime of the day you may order your favorite drink or smoothie from the bar. if you have any particular dietary requirements, the staff will do their best to help you. the meals included in the retreat package are mainly vegetarian fare with some fish. if you require more meat protein in your diet, you are welcome at any time to order from the restaurant's full menu at your own expense, which includes dishes that have chicken, beef and other meats. special care is taken in the preparation and cleaning of all food - including fruits and vegetables - to ensure the health of guests.
